Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara are two halves of one idea. Ziva resorts welcome all ages, and Zilara resorts are adults-only. This site covers seven of them in two countries, Mexico and the Dominican Republic: four Hyatt Ziva resorts (Cancun, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta and Cap Cana) and three Hyatt Zilara resorts (Cancun, Riviera Maya and Cap Cana). In Cap Cana the two sit next to each other on Juanillo Beach. If you are traveling with children, start with Ziva; for a trip without them, start with Zilara. As of September 2026 the Ziva and Zilara resorts at Rose Hall in Jamaica are still closed after Hurricane Melissa, so they are not listed here yet. Ask me and I'll check current availability.
