Couples Sans Souci

The short version

Cliffside, rainforest and a natural mineral spring give Couples Sans Souci its character. The adults-only resort spreads 150 suites over about 35 acres in Ocho Rios, and its mineral-spring grotto pool stays open around the clock. A renovation finished by December 2022 redid the suites, added an Asian-themed restaurant and upgraded the spa areas. Golfers get green fees and transport to Upton Golf & Country Club included, and the resort has welcomed guests since 1948.

Before you book

• A small bay called Sunset Beach is set aside for clothing-optional sunbathing during set daytime hours.
• The Hibiscus Oasis Spa Villa needs a 5-night minimum stay, or 7 nights over the December 26 to January 2 holidays.
