Sandals returned to this Ocho Rios address after more than a decade away, renovating the resort and reopening it on May 24, 2023. What you get is an adults-only stay with 260 rooms and suites, 12 restaurants and nine bars, a rum club among them. Swim-up suites and Coyaba Sky Rondoval villas with rooftop terraces lead the room list, golf green fees are included, and the restaurants and bars at Sandals Ochi are yours to use too.

Good to know

• Sandals first ran this resort from 1991 to 2010, then bought it back, renovated it and reopened it on May 24, 2023.
• It has 12 restaurants and nine bars, including a rum club, plus two pools and two whirlpools. You also get full use of the restaurants, bars and amenities at Sandals Ochi.
• Green fees and round-trip shuttles to the nearby golf club are included.
• Rooms include swim-up suites and Coyaba Sky Rondoval villas with rooftop terraces; Sandals' comparison data lists 260 rooms and suites.
• After Hurricane Melissa it was one of five Sandals and Beaches resorts in Jamaica that reopened in early December 2025.

Before you book

• Ian Fleming International (OCJ) is about 30 minutes away, with flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Montego Bay (MBJ) and Kingston (KIN) are each about 90 minutes away.
• A 2021 announcement planned a separate, newly built Sandals Royal Dunn's River of about 250 rooms on the land next door. Ask me and I'll check where that project stands before you book.
